Stress Management Workshop – Coming Winter of 2012!
Does life seem overwhelming at times? Do you have too much to do and too little time to do it in? Do you have trouble saying "No"? Are you a perfectionist? Do you have a bad case of the "Coulda, Oughta, Woulda, Shouldas?"
Take time to take care of yourself! Learn about your personal stressors. Find techniques to keep them at bay. We'll discuss causes, symptoms and effects of stress throughout your life, from family stressors to career burnout, and introduce new methods for dealing with it. In this workshop you'll learn to understand the nature of stress, assess your individual level of stress via standardized testing instruments, and acquire tools for appropriately coping with stress. Emphasis is placed on developing appropriate methods of stress management through structured experiences, discussions and lectures. Homework each week is to try the techniques, then watch as life becomes more manageable and fulfilling.
